The Snapshot report is a concise collection of key findings from your institution's FSSE administration. Additional details about these and other results appear in the reports referenced throughout.
FSSE 2018 Administration Summary
This report provides an overview of administration details, including information about NSSEville State's sample, response rates, survey customization choices, and recruitment message schedule. Institutions often use this feedback to assess data quality and in planning future FSSE administrations.
FSSE 2018 Respondent Profile
The Respondent Profile describes respondents by demographic features, academic discipline, number of courses taught, years of teaching, etc.
FSSE 2018 Frequencies
Detailing how many and what percent of respondents chose each response option for all items, item numbers, variable names, and class level of respondents, the Frequencies report helps you deconstruct your data at the item level.
FSSE-NSSE 2018 Combined Reports
For institutions that participate in both NSSE and FSSE in the same year, the Combined Reports show item by item comparisons of student and faculty responses.
FSSE Scales and Component Items
Starting with FSSE 2013, sets of new, continuing, and updated items have been grouped into nine scales. These scales are organized under four themes that parallel engagement themes on NSSE.
FSSE Disciplinary Area Report Overview
The Disciplinary Area Report delivers your frequency distributions in up to ten categories of related disciplines. Using this report with the NSSE Major Field Report, institutions can add context to the student experience within different disciplinary areas.

FSSE 2018 Topical Module Example — Experiences with Writing
This module-the result of an ongoing collaboration between NSSE and the Council of Writing Program Administrators-touches on three aspects of good writing assignments: interactivity, meaning-making, and clarity. The module complements questions on the core survey about how much writing students are assigned, the nature of course assignments, and emphasis on developing written expression. *Module available for graduate student instructors.
